- Try the Waite Group's _C Primer Plus_. It's clear, comprehensive, and
- has good, fairly substantive exercises at the end of each chapter. The
- Waite Group also has an interactive tutorial called "Master C" that is
- based on _C Primer Plus_ so that you can work on both concurrently. And
- don't forget a copy of K&R, of course, which can be used as either
- textbook or reference or both.
